11am – God’s Glory

This morning we continue our study in the book of Exodus. We consider God’s glory, purpose and plan in His dealings with Pharaoh, through Moses.

6pm – Eternal Life in Heaven

This evening we continue to think about what the Bible has to say on the subject of eternal life. In particular, what will eternal life in heaven be like?

11am – Hardened Hearts

This morning we return to Moses and Aaron before Pharaoh in Egypt. Pharaoh’s hardens his heart, but what does the Bible mean by a hard heart? Can we have hard hearts too? If so, what is the cure?

The reading this morning is from Exodus 8:1-15.

6pm – Eternal Life: Here and Now

This evening we consider the topic of eternal life; what is means, how we can have it and what it means for the here and now.

We shall be reading from 2 Corinthians 4:16 -5:11.

11am – Frogs!

This morning we continue our series in Exodus. We will be looking at the second of the plagues sent on Egypt – frogs.

6pm – Sin!

This evening we continue our mini-series on the attributes of God. However this evening we will be considering an attribute of all humankind – sin. We will consider how we, as sinners, can stand before the Holy God. Our readings this evening are from Genesis 3 and Isaiah 6:1-7.

This morning we turn to Exodus 7:14-25 and the first of the plagues brought on Egypt – turning of water into blood.

This morning we join Moses an Aaron as they come into Pharaoh’s presence again, this time with a challenge and signs from God. How will Pharaoh react?

This evening we see how opposition arose to Paul and Barnabas as they preached in the city of Lystra.

11am – Serving the Lord at any age

This morning we turn to Exodus chapters 6 and 7. Moses has suffered an apparent setback in what he has been called to do, but we will see that is is all part of God’s plan. We will see how serving God is a lifelong calling and doesn’t always come with the instant results we want.

Sunday Evening 18th September with the Romanian Church of Bristol

This Sunday evening, we are really pleased and honoured to be joining the Bristol Romanian Church for their service in Longwell Green at the All Saints United Church, 83 Bath Road, Longwell Green, BS30 9DF. The service starts at 5pm, and it is a family friendly service, so all the family is welcome.

As we are joining them as a congregation, our building on Norman Road, Saltford will therefore be closed, this Sunday evening.
