11am – The voice of one crying…

This week Pastor Mike is going to speak to us from Isaiah again, and think about how, where and why this prophecy is fulfilled and by whom. We will think about the lessons we can learn from this too, from Isaiah 40:3-5.

5:30pm – What is the point of the law

This evening we return to 1 Timothy where this week Pastor Mike will show us what the point of the law is in the Bible, why it’s important, what we can learn from it, and what we should do with this knowledge and lesson. Speaking from 1 Timothy 1:3-11.

11am – Has God indeed said…?

This week we are joined by a visitor, Ben Fry, who is asking us an interesting question from one of the most pivotal moments of time in history. We will think about this question and why it is important, when we read our passage, Genesis 3:1-24.

5:30pm – The sign of the coming bridegroom

This evening, Ben is speaking with us again, but this time we are looking into what happens when Jesus does His first miracle, and why this is significant to us. Instead of an interesting question, we think about the wedding at Cana, what a celebration it would have been. Our passage for this evening is John 2:1-12.

11am – Salvation and blessing

This week, Pastor Mike is back and this week he is taking us to Isaiah, and chapter 40 to a passage very familiar to many Christians, where we will look into what comfort God’s words and promises can give, in Isaiah 40:1-2.

5:30pm – Pure heart, good conscience, sincere faith

This evening, with Pastor Mike, we return to our passage in 1 Timothy. This week, we take a look at some charactistics that should be present in a Christians life and a problem Timothy had, to which Paul gives an answer, from 1 Timothy 1:3-7.

This morning we are joined by a guest speaker Mike Daly; he will be speaking from the book of Mark this morning and we will learn about the power of a large amount water can do, and why faith is important in that situation, especially when storms in life hit us, in Mark 4:35-41.

This evening we are joined again by Mike Daly, who this evening will speak to us from Luke, where we think about events that have happened in the town of Bethany, the significance of the place and why we should look into the subject, from Luke 10:38-42.

11am – Send out Your light and Your truth

This morning Pastor Mike returns from a week away, and we return to the Psalms. Last time we finished Psalm 42, and this week we are going to have a look at Psalm 43; are these two Psalms linked in some way? Maybe they are the same Psalm? Joins as we look into these and more questions, in Psalm 43:1-5.

5:30pm – Grace, Mercy and Peace

This evening we return again to Paul’s letter to Timothy (the first one), this week Pastor Mike is going preach installment number two from this letter. We have made it to the second verse of the first chapter, and we are going to consider three words found there; grace, mercy and peace, from 1 Timothy 1:2.

This week we have a guest speaker, Paul Kinnaird. He will be speaking to us about difficult days we have as Christians, as well as other types of days we have too, and how we should deal with them, from Exodus 1:8-22.

5:30pm – God knows all about me

This evening we are watching a recorded sermon; please join us as we learn from a brother across the pond. This time he will be speaking to us about the fact that God knows all about us, from Psalm 147.

11am – I shall yet praise Him

This week Pastor Mike will be taking us to Psalm 42, and showing us the ins and outs, the ups and down of the position that the psalmist was in and feeling at the time, so we can know the lessons we can learn and what we can apply to our own lives, today. Our text for this week is Pslam 42:6-11.

5:30pm – A letter to a pastor

This evening we are going to have a look into 1 Timothy and chapter 1. We are going to think about who Timothy was, who is writing the letter and consider that this is a letter, from a pastor, to a fellow pastor. What important truths are contained in these opening verses of the letter and what this means for us, from 1 Timothy 1:1-2.

11am – Unity in the Gospel

This morning we return to Colossians; this week Pastor Mike continues to take us through chapter 4, and we will think about the unity of God’s people through the Gospel, from Colossians 4:15-18.

5:30pm – Sin not leading to death

This evening we revisit 1 John and this week with Pastor Mike we have a look at sin that doesn’t lead to death and sin that does. We also think about prayer again, as this is always important to think about prayer. Our text this time is 1 John 5:16-17.

11am – More Names

This morning Pastor Mike takes us back to Colossians, and we revisit the list of names that Paul gives in these verses. We will consider these other characters, what example they give us, what we need to be aware or causious of, what this means for us and how we can apply these lessons, from Colossians 4:12-14.

5:30pm – Real Prayer

This evening we return to 1 John with Pastor Mike; we will consider what real prayer looks like, the fact that God hears us, which gives us confidence. God, being our good Heavenly Father, not only listens but knows how to give us good things, if it is according to His will.
