This morning we turn to Genesis 3:1-12, hearing of the first people’s disobedience, excuses and hiding from God. Our God is still able to willing to save! Our morning service will be led by Steve Greedy.

Sunday 13 August

11am – A Fight with the Amalekites

In the morning we continue our study in the book of Exodus. This week we turn to Exodus 17:8-16 as the Children of Israel fight with the Amalekites.

Due to technical difficulties we are unable to livestream the morning service this week. We will make a recording available on the website later in the week. In the meantime you can find plenty of recorded sermons in our Sermon archives.

6pm – A Sermon about a Sermon

We return to Paul in Athens as he address those gathered at the Areopagus in Athens (Acts 17:22-33).

11am – Waters of Contention

We turn to Exodus 17:1-7, where the Children of Israel once again start to complain to Moses. This time the problem is lack of water to drink.

6pm – Philosophers

We return to our study of Paul’s missionary journey. This week finds us in Acts 17:16-21, where Paul meets the Philosophers of Athens.

11am – The Sabbath

We continue with our study in the book of Exodus, following Moses and the Children of Israel through the wilderness. This week we consider the Lord’s provision of double manna in order for His people to be able to observe the Sabbath day in Exodus 16:22-26.

6pm – Search the Scriptures

We follow Paul and Silas to Thessalonica and Berea in Acts 17:1-15, we find two very different responses to the preaching of the Gospel.

11am – Manna

We return to the book of Exodus to see God’s miraculous provision for the Children of Israel, found in Exodus 16:13-31.

6pm – Laws are good for the Gospel

We turn to Acts 16:25-40 and consider how Paul appealed to secular authorities during his work preaching the Gospel. What part do governments and lawmakers have to play in the work in the church?

11am – A God merciful and gracious

Our service this morning will be led by Benjamin Saunders, preaching from Exodus 34:6 on the subject of our merciful and gracious God.

6pm – Slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness

Our service this evening will be led by Benjamin Saunders. We will return to Exodus 34:6 but this time consider the Lord’s love, faithfulness and how he is slow to anger.

11am – Glory of the Lord

For our morning service we will be continuing in our study of the book of Exodus. We plan to look at Exodus 16:10 where the Glory of the Lord appears to the Children of Israel.

6pm – God’s Eternal Purpose

In the evening we return to Acts 16 and verses 25-34. We consider how God in his eternal purpose arranged the events of this chapter to bring salvation to the Philippian jailer and his family.

We continue our series on Acts, as Paul and Silas face trouble in the Philippi. Acts 16:16-25

This evening we read of Paul and Silas arriving in Philippi, in Acts 16:11-15. We see how the Lord opened Lydia’s heart to believe in the Gospel.
