11am – Servant of God

This morning we are going to return to our passage in Colossians, still in Chapter 1; this week we will be looking into why and how we are to be servants of God, what this means and how can we live it out in our everyday life, in Colossians 1:25.

5:30pm – Glorious Hope

This evening we are going back to 1 John 3; we will celebrate the glorious hope we have in that we have become children of God, from 1 John 3:2-3.

11am – Rejoice in suffering?

This morning we are going to return to our passage in Colossians, still in Chapter 1, but moving on to a section where Paul takes about the suffering that he has had to endure. Pastor Mike is going to show us how Paul is able to suffer by retain his joy and happiness, in Colossians 1:24.

5:30pm – All who love Jesus are God’s children

This Sunday evening we are taking a look at the book of 1 John, where Pastor Mike will show us, from the “Apostle of love”, the amazing love that God has for us, if we love his Son, Jesus Christ; that He will call us His children! Join us are we read about this in 1 John 3:1.

Sunday 5th January 2025

11am – God the Creator

This morning Pastor Mike begins to take a look at Genesis 1, thinking this morning about how and why the first 11 chapters of the book of Genesis are so important, and what can we learn from them today.

5:30pm – Work out your salvation in fear and trembling

This evening we are going to have a look into the book of Joshua; we are going to reading about when the manna stopped appearing for the Jews in the wilderness, considering what happenned before and after this event, and what we can learn from it, in Joshua 5:12.

Sunday 29th December

11am – Simeon

This morning we are going to have a look at the priest Simeon. He was greatful to God for being given the chance to see salvation from God and hold God’s Son in his hands. Mike will share some thoughts with us on this from the passage, Luke 2:25-35.

5:30pm – Anna

This evening we will looking at the next character in the passage we read this morning, the prophetess Anna. She was also blessed with meeting the God’s Massiah, and Mike will preach on this from Luke 2:36-38.

11am – Angels

Join us this morning for our Family Christmas Carol service, as we ask the questions about the angels, their role in the nativity story of the birth of our Lord Jesus, from Matthew 1:20-21.

5:30pm – God’s gift to the world

This evening we worship with carols by candelight, and as we think about God’s gift to the world, Jesus Christ, the son of God. We will be thinking about the good news that this is, where it happened and how were the people of the day to know which baby was the true Massiah, in Luke 2:9-14.

11am – Christmas in the Old Testament

Join us on Sunday morning as Pastor Mike takes us to Isaiah 42: 1-9, to find Christmas in the Old Testament. We’ll see what the Old Testament has to say about the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ.

5:30pm – What is the point of Christmas?

Pastor Mike is going to share with us what the point of Christmas is; why it’s at this time of year, why we celebrate Christmas the way we do, and why we celebrate Christmas at all. We will see this from Matthew 1: 18-25.

This Sunday morning we are going back to our series in Colossians. This time we are going to look at our relationship with God, what does does about it and how we should respond, in Colossians 1:21-23.

This Sunday evening we are continuing our look at a Psalm 16, where we will discover what Contentment in Christ looks like and why it’s so important, as we look at Psalm 16:5-8.

This Sunday evening we are starting to have a look at a Psalm 16, where we will discover what commitment to God looks like and why we need to put our trust in God, as we look at Psalm 16:1-4.
