11am – Rejoice and Remember

This week we have a guest speaker, Andrew Barden, he joins us for both the morning and the evening services and this morning he will be showing us why it is important to remember and rejoice, from Philippians 3:1.

5:30pm – No Confidence in the Flesh

This evening Andrew will be speaking about what is it to have “no confidence in the flesh”, and so what this strange phrase means, why we don’t need to have this trust is things we can see, and why we should trust God in what God says, from Philippians 3:2-3.

This morning we have a visiting speaker join us, Paul Kinnaird, and he is going to speak about living on earth while having heaven in view. He will give us a perspective for our lives, which will help guide our decision making, our priorities, and many other areas, from Philippians 3:12 – 4:1.

5:30pm – God is everywhere

11am – Behold Your God

This morning Pastor Mike takes us to Isaiah chapter 40 again, and this week we think about what it is to behold God, who God is and why we should, behold Him. Our text this morning is Isaiah 40:9-11.

5:30pm – Who is God?

This evening we return to 1 Timothy where we will consider a verse that can be called a doxology – summing up many characteristics of God – Pastor Mike plans to expound the verse and each of these characteristics to us, from 1 Timothy 1:17.

This week we are joined by a guest speaker, Ben Quek, who is going to speak this morning from Acts, in the passage where the apostle Paul speaks to Greeks at the Areopagus, trying persuade them that Jesus is the Christ and that they need to believe, in Acts 17:16-34.

5:30pm

This even Ben will speak to us from Isaiah, and the passage where the prophet sees a vision, where the prophet sees his own uncleaness, how unworthy he is and how we all need to be cleansed of sin, in Isaiah 6:1-7.

11am – The Enduring Word of God

Returning again to Isaiah chapter 40, this morning Pastor Mike speaks on how God’s Word, the Bible endures compared to the grass of the field and the flower of the meadow, which fade and wither, from Isaiah 40:6-8.

5:30pm – Paul’s testimony

This week Pastor Mike takes us back to the first letter to Timothy where Paul speaks to Timothy about how he was converted, how God saved Paul and saves us, and how great God’s grace and patience is with us, plus we think about how Paul shows us that no one is too bad, no one is too sinful, God can save anyone, from whatever background or situation, from 1 Timothy 1:12-15.

This week Pastor Mike is going to speak to us from Isaiah again, and think about how, where and why this prophecy is fulfilled and by whom. We will think about the lessons we can learn from this too, from Isaiah 40:3-5.

5:30pm – What is the point of the law

This evening we return to 1 Timothy where this week Pastor Mike will show us what the point of the law is in the Bible, why it’s important, what we can learn from it, and what we should do with this knowledge and lesson. Speaking from 1 Timothy 1:3-11.

This week we are joined by a visitor, Ben Fry, who is asking us an interesting question from one of the most pivotal moments of time in history. We will think about this question and why it is important, when we read our passage, Genesis 3:1-24.

5:30pm – The sign of the coming bridegroom

This evening, Ben is speaking with us again, but this time we are looking into what happens when Jesus does His first miracle, and why this is significant to us. Instead of an interesting question, we think about the wedding at Cana, what a celebration it would have been. Our passage for this evening is John 2:1-12.

This week, Pastor Mike is back and this week he is taking us to Isaiah, and chapter 40 to a passage very familiar to many Christians, where we will look into what comfort God’s words and promises can give, in Isaiah 40:1-2.

5:30pm – Pure heart, good conscience, sincere faith

This evening, with Pastor Mike, we return to our passage in 1 Timothy. This week, we take a look at some charactistics that should be present in a Christians life and a problem Timothy had, to which Paul gives an answer, from 1 Timothy 1:3-7.

This evening we are joined again by Mike Daly, who this evening will speak to us from Luke, where we think about events that have happened in the town of Bethany, the significance of the place and why we should look into the subject, from Luke 10:38-42.

This morning Pastor Mike returns from a week away, and we return to the Psalms. Last time we finished Psalm 42, and this week we are going to have a look at Psalm 43; are these two Psalms linked in some way? Maybe they are the same Psalm? Joins as we look into these and more questions, in Psalm 43:1-5.

5:30pm – Grace, Mercy and Peace

This evening we return again to Paul’s letter to Timothy (the first one), this week Pastor Mike is going preach installment number two from this letter. We have made it to the second verse of the first chapter, and we are going to consider three words found there; grace, mercy and peace, from 1 Timothy 1:2.
