11am – The Second Commandment

This morning we will be thinking about the second commandment, found in Exodus 20:4: You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth

6pm  – Sinners Still

We turn to 1 John 1:8-10 and consider the reality that all of us have sinned, but that there is forgivness cleansing from all sin when we confess them.

11am – You shall have no other gods before Me (Part 2)

We continue to consider the first of the Ten Commandments, found in Exodus 20:3.

6pm – A Great Assurance

We turn to 1 John 1:7 and consider the great assurance of salvation, whic John gives to Christians in this verse.

11am – No other gods

We consider the first of the Ten Commandments from Exodus 20:3: “You shall have no other gods before Me.”

6pm – Holiness is to be like Christ

We turn to 1 John 1:6, where John gives a test of authentic faith – do we aim to live a holy life?

11am – The Importance of the Ten Commandments

For our morning service we will be reading from Exodus 20:1-21 and considering the Ten Commandments. Are the Ten Commandments for today and if so what is their purpose?

6pm – God is Light

We read 1 John 1:5 and consider what the Apostle John meant when he wrote, “God is Light”.

11am – Our God is a Consuming Fire

We turn to Exodus 19:16-25, as Moses prepares to approach the Lord at Mount Sinai.

6pm – Fellowship and Joy

We read 1 John 1:3-4 and think on the fellowship and joy of Christians in Jesus.

Sunday 14 April

11am – Covenant of Grace

We turn to Exodus 19:1-15. Israel is camped at Mount Sinai and Moses goes up the mountain to meet with God. We will explore what God’s covenant with His people means.

6pm – Jesus – both God and Man

We start a new series in 1 John, reading from 1 John 1:1-2 as we consider who Jesus is and what the Apostle John wants to tell us about Him.

Sunday 7 April

11am – The Road To Emmaus

We turn to Luke 24:13-32 and think about the encounter between the risen Jesus and two disciples on the Road to Emmaus.

6pm – Evening Service

Our evening service will be led by Roger Page.

This morning we turn to Mark 14: 1-21 where Judas, the disciple Judas is introduced. Who was Judas? Why did he betray Jesus? What made him a condemed man?

6pm – What does Jesus say?

In the evening we will be listening to a pre-recorded message from Truth for Life, based on John 1:43–51

No one knows when the Lord Jesus is going to come again, Jesus encourages us to be ready. We turn to Mark 13:24-37 to read Jesus’ warnings and encouragements to His disciples.

6pm – Who’s in Charge?

We turn to Acts 21:27-22:2 where Paul causes a bit of an uproar in Jerusalem.

Sunday 10 March

11am – The Dark Days of our Age

Before the Lord Jesus comes again, there will be difficult and dark days. We turn to Mark 13:14-23 to read Jesus’ warnings and encouragements to His disciples.

6pm – Don’t Hinder the Gospel

We turn to Acts 21:15-26 where Paul completes his journey to Jerusalem and gives an account of it to the church there.
